Since becoming a parent at a young age, I have been advocating for myself, my queer and trans family, and our wider communities.
I work to make parenting spaces, communities, and narratives more expansive and inclusive of the myriad of ways that people create and inhabit their families. I fight to make schools and other systems more safe and nurturing for my own children and many others at the intersections. I advocate for more consideration and access for parents and caregivers in academia, community organizing, and beyond.
My children motivate my work and my organizing, and my politics and values shape how I show up to teach, parent, and support my kids. My family is central to how I move through the world.
